Welcome to the Quality Systems Laboratory, Department of Industrial and Management Engineering, Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH).
Today, many firms are faced with rapid changes stimulated by innovations and dynamic customer demands. Providing high-quality products/services to customer in a timely manner is crucial for the companies’survival in the competitive marketplace.
Research at the Quality Systems Laboratory is focused on the modeling and analysis of new products and process design activities, with an emphasis on quality improvement.
Our research program has produced significant results on several fronts, and has been very well received by the government and industry as well as academia. We feel especially proud of the laboratory’s graduates who are now playing important roles at various leading organizations.
We will continue to do our best to accomplish the laboratory’s vision, namely to "Develop world-class graduates and research results in the field of quality systems innovation."
